What is Resin?
Epoxy resin or resin is a material that can be used for many different purposes and is created by mixing two components that are matched to each other. If the liquid resin is mixed with a suitable hardener, a chemical reaction is set in motion that usually lasts several hours.
After the components have been mixed with each other, not only heat is radiated, but the material is also converted from a liquid to a solid / cured state.
The end result is a durable and clear shine plastic
Is Resin safe after curing?
Resins become non-toxic when it cures fully. Resins cure fully when it becomes completely hardened, solid, and thoroughly washed. And as a result of this, it becomes an inert substance and no toxic leach can exude from it. In this final stage, when the resin is fully cured, it is safe to touch it and place your items on it.
Is Resin scratch resistant?
Resin is considered scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof. If you use a cheese board for cutting - do not cut on the resin coat
Is Resin heat proof?
Heat resistant of resin used for creating cheese boards : approximately 55 degrees Celsius
Heat resistant of resin used for making coasters: up to 105 degrees Celsius
Resin is not suitable for very hot objects
Is Resin food safe?
Cured resin can be safely used as a food contact surface. The maximum temperature cured resin can come in contact with is 55C. Exposing resin to temperatures higher than this may cause irreparable damage to the resined surface. Since hot food may exceed these temperatures, placing it on a resined surface should be avoided.

How to care for my product?
Resin pieces can be cleaned/dusted with a damp microfibre washcloth, followed by the cloth used for mirrors. Avoid anything abrasive to protect the surface. Not dishwasher safe

Can you do a gift wrapping?
Absolutely! Every order wrapped with elegant tissue paper. If you would like to include a gift note simply leave your gift message in the order notes
How long does dispatch and delivery take?
All in-stock orders are generally sent within 24 hours of placing an order (weekends and public holidays excepted). Custom orders will be sent after finishing. It takes approx. 7 days to make a custom order.
Once items are dispatched, regular Australia Post delivery times apply.
